New Neurological and Spine Specialist
Dr. Geoffrey M. McCullen of Neurological and Spinal Surgery Clinic of Lincoln will begin a specialty clinic in the treatment of brain, spine and peripheral nerves disorders at the Boone County Health Center in Albion in March. Dr. McCullen specializes in adult and pediatric orthopaedic surgeries including vertebroplasty, carpal tunnel release, lumber and cervical discectomy and fusion. Dr. McCullen emphasizes complete patient education for operative and non-operative strategies in the treatment of neurological disorders, pain management, and disease.
Board certified in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. McCullen earned his medical degree at Case Reserve Western University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his orthopaedic and surgical residency at Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. McCullen was a U.S. Naval Commander on active and reserve duty from 1984-1999. He served as the Director of Spine Surgery and the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA. McCullen enjoys physical fitness and competes in triathlons, marathons and distance open water swimming.
