Staff Changes at Nance County Medical Clinic

Beginning in January 2008, several changes in medical staffing took place at the Nance County Medical Clinic. Drs. Bradley Hupp and Lynette Kramer no longer have office hours at the clinic. In their place, Dr. Tami Dodds will be working at the clinic. Both Dr. Joel Travis and Jacquie Brugman, PA-C will continue seeing patients at the clinic during their regular hours.

For Dr. Kramer, the change to reduce her clinic hours was a personal decision. “Choosing to go part-time and cutting back my workload has been a difficult decision and I knew it would involve a sacrifice somewhere. However, my kids are getting older and busier and my responsibility as a mother is my first priority. I have really enjoyed establishing patient relationships here in Fullerton and I will certainly miss them, some of which have been ongoing since I started here in 1998. I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Dodds and having her step in at NCMC leaves my patients in good hands and allows me to opportunity to spend more time with my family,” said Dr. Kramer.

For Dr. Hupp, the change was also difficult. “I’ve spent three years at the Clinic and like the people and staff I’ve worked with. With Dr. Dodds joining our practice, we needed to make room for her to start a practice. It was a tough decision but I believe the people will enjoy working with her,” stated Dr. Hupp. Both Drs. Hupp and Kramer will continue seeing patients in the Albion and Elgin clinic.

Dr. Tami Dodds joined the medical staff at the clinic and Health Center in August. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School in 2004 and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Faith Regional Health Services through the rural training track in 2007. Dr. Dodds grew up in the Belgrade area and her and her husband, Bill, are the parents of three children. Dr. Dodds will be in the Nance County Medical Clinic on Wednesdays from 9-12 and Fridays from 1-4:30. Dr. Dodds will also be available at the Boone and Newman Grove Medical Clinics. Appointments can be scheduled with her by calling the clinic.
