Valorie Slizoski a clinical social worker will join the Health Center staff for three days a week beginning in late January.  Val has been a social worker for nineteen years most recently with Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.  Slizoski received a Bachelor of Science in Social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1991.
As a social worker, Slizoski will assist both inpatients and outpatients in accessing needed information and resources including available financial assistance for healthcare and medicine, grief resources and in meeting extended and psychosocial needs of patients.  Val has worked extensively with new families who may need extra help in adjusting to the demands of a newborn or in the loss of a child.
