Mandy Price Named CFO

Mandy Price CFOBoone County Health Center appointed Mandy Price, formerly of Julian, NE, to the position of Chief Financial Officer in July. Before accepting this position, Price was the Chief Financial Officer at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn, NE. Price brings over eight years of financial, operational, and management experience. She has extensive background experience in hospital accounting, auditing, and in the monitoring of monthly critical access settlements with insurance companies and Medicare.

Mandy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. She is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and a Fellow with the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Originally from the Ewing area, Price has relocated to Albion, with her two daughters, ages 4 and 9.

Tami Dodds MD - Primary Care Physician

Dr. Tami DoddsTami Dodds MD, is the newest primary care physician to join the medical staff at the Health Center. Dodds began working in the Health Center's medical clinics on August 15th and is currently accepting new patients. Dr Dodd's focus will be in all aspects of family prictice, including obstetrics, women's health, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Dodds was raised in the Cedar Rapids area of Boone County and graduated from Cedar Rapids High School. She was chosen to participate in the competitive Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP). She graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelors degree in chemistry and health sciences in 2001. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 2004. She completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Faith Regional Health Services through the UNMC Rural Training Track. Dr. Dodds and her husband, Bill, are the parents of two sons and she is expecting her third child at the end of October.
