Putting a child's safety seat into a vehicle can be very confusing. Doing it properly is important for yourchild's safety!
Here at Boone County Health Center, we are committed to the safety of your children. Nicole Levander, Certified Car Seat Technician, can give hands-on help by physically showing you the proper way to install your child's car seat and answering any questions. As an added service, all parents who deliver at BCHC receive free training and a car seat inspection to ensure their baby is restrained properly before leaving the hospital.
In the United States, motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 14 years old (based on 2013 figures, from National Center for Health Statistics).
